Bangalore: A new government has been formed in Karnataka. Along with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, 8 MLAs have taken oath as cabinet ministers. After the swearing-in ceremony, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi while addressing the people present there thanked the people of Karnataka for forming the Congress government. Rahul Gandhi said that in 1-2 hours the first cabinet meeting of the new government of Karnataka will be held and the 5 promises made by us will become law. We do what we say.

What are the five promises of Congress:-

1- Up to 200 units of free electricity will be given to each family.
2- Monthly allowance of Rs.3000 for graduate unemployed and Rs.1500 monthly allowance for diploma holders students.
3- A monthly allowance of Rs 2000 will be given to a woman from each family.
4- 10 kg free grain to every poor person.
5- Every woman will get the facility of free travel in government buses.

20 to 25 percent of the total annual budget of Karnataka will be spent in fulfilling these 5 promises. In such a situation, it will be worth seeing how the Congress government fulfills these promises and how it uses the money for other works of the state. However, Rahul Gandhi is proud of this victory and has thanked the people. Rahul Gandhi said, 'I thank the people of Karnataka from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of the Congress party. You completely supported the Congress party. You and we know what difficulties you overcame in the last 5 years. It was told in the media why the Congress party won this election. There is only one reason for this victory and that is the Congress stood with the poor, backward, Dalits of Karnataka. We had said in the yatra that hatred was eradicated and love won, Karnataka has opened lakhs of love shops in the market of hatred.
