1. Blue-Blooded
Both Prasad and Deepika come from honorable and widely respected families of the Mumbai suburban region. Prasad’s Great-Grandfather Mr DN Pitale owned large properties in the Vidyavihar and Ghatkopar provinces, these estates are still in the family! Prasad’s Grandmother Ms Sheela D Vedpathak oversaw and built a grand 7-storey building where the Vedpathaks currently reside. Vedpathaks haven’t sold any of their properties and most of them are currently leased. Deepika comes from the famous Kothawade family. The Kothawades have a political stronghold in the Ghatkopar region helmed by Deepika’s uncle Ravindra Kothawade. Deepika’s Grandfather Vasant Shivram Kothawade had actively participated in the country’s freedom struggle and was a pioneer in the newspaper distribution business in the region.
2. High School Sweethearts
Prasad & Deepika first met when they were in the 9th standard at their alma mater Fatima High School. While sparks flew between the two instantly, both were too shy to admit their crush to each other.
3. Before they were famous…
Before Deepika became a social media star, she was working in Mantralaya. For 3.5years she was a part of the Digital India IT Team.
4. Lights! Camera! Content!
Prasad Vedpathak picked up the camera in 2012 was one of the first Family and Lifestyle vloggers in India. He posted his vlogs on the channel Ur IndianConsumer by the name ‘WTV’ in 2015 which later manifested into UICVlogs. However, he took an indefinite hiatus from vlogging in 2020 without revealing the reason. But he has spoken frequently about the downsides of daily vlogging.
5. One with the World
Deepika & Prasad did not wish to restrict themselves with one religion, instead of picking any particular religion,they have adopted a life that combines the virtues and teachings from all religions.
