A sensational case of crime has recently surfaced from Meerut where a step-mother strangled a five-year-old innocent son and hid his body in a bed. At the same time, when the grandmother sensed that something is wrong, the woman was interrogated and after that, she confessed to the murder. At the same time, after about four hours the corpse was recovered from the bed and the police arrested the accused woman and her brother-in-law. In this case, it has been told that the child had seen the stepmother and uncle in an objectionable condition and both feared that the secret of both would be revealed.

Both of them killed him of fear. In this case, Suprabhat Upadhyay, a resident of Kapasad, works as a labourer in Assam and his first wife left him a year ago. At the same time, he had a five-year-old son Ayushman from his first wife and after this, Suprabhat married Woman alias Bhuri, a resident of Tikri town of Baghpat. Woman, son Ayushmann and mother-in-law Shashi were living in the village. According to the information received, Ayushman used to study in LKG in the public school of the village and last Thursday morning, grandmother Shashi sent him to school and went to the forest. After that, when Ayushman came back from school at around 10:30, he saw all that after which he was murdered. It is alleged in this case that during this time, his stepmother Woman beat him first. Then she strangled him to death. The body was hidden in a box inside the bed. When the grandmother came back from the forest, asked Woman about Ayushman, she said he has gone outside to play.

It has been further told that "He did not came back home, then grandmother Shashi set out in search of the child." People of the neighbourhood said to see Ayushman for the last time at home. When Woman was suspected, she jumped from the roof and started running. Some people caught her. When strictly questioned, she accepted the murder of innocent Ayushman. Woman recovered the corpse from the bed box. The police have arrested the accused.
