Varanasi: A painful accident occurred in Varanasi of U.P. on Friday morning. Here, five young men drowned in the river one by one while making a Tiktok video on the sand across the river. People around ran to save them, but could not save them. The bodies of five have been recovered after nearly two hours of hard work. Bodies were brought to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital in Ramnagar. All the officials including SDM, City Magistrate have reached the spot and the hospital.

5 men of Ramnagar Barigahi, situated on the other side of the Ganges, 19-year-old Tausif son Rafiq, 14-year-old Fardeen son Mumtaz, 15-year-old Shaif son Iqbal, 15-year-old Rizwan son Shaheed and 14-year-old Saki son Guddu, reached the shore to make a video of Tiktok. A lot of sand has emerged in the Ganges between Ravidas Park and Siphiya Ghat of Ramnagar these days. Here two young men sat on the sidelines and five reached the embossed sand in the middle to make a video of Tausif, Fardeen, Shaif, Rizwan and Saki. When one drowned while making the video, the other jumped into the river to save him. All five teenagers drowned while trying to save each other.

Meanwhile, after hearing the screams of the children, some sailors ran with their boats to save them. But by the time they could reach the middle, all five men had drowned in the water.
