USA: Today, May 31, SpaceX successfully launched 52 Starlink satellites. From California's Vandenberg Space Force Base, a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the broadband satellites launched into space.

All of the payloads have been placed in low Earth orbit (LEO), the company confirmed via Twitter. According to the original schedule, the deployment happened 17.5 minutes after launch.

Approximately eight minutes and 45 seconds after liftoff, the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket was brought back to Earth. It successfully landed vertically on the Pacific Ocean-based SpaceX drone ship called "Of Course I Still Love You." The 52 Starlink satellites were deployed to LEO by the Falcon 9's upper stage in the meantime.

Broadband internet services that support streaming, gaming, and other activities are offered by the massive constellation of satellites known as Starlink, which is in LEO. According to the official website, the satellites have an orbit that is about 550 kilometres closer to Earth than other broadband satellites. Starlink satellites are able to provide users all over the world with high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity due to their low orbit.

The satellites of Starlink can raise their orbit and manoeuvre in space thanks to their ion propulsion system, which is powered by Krypton. The satellites also have the ability to automatically manoeuvre to avoid running into other spacecraft or orbital debris. The satellites' navigation sensors scan the stars to ascertain their position, altitude, and orientation. Each satellite is only operational for about five years before they  deorbit.

According to SpaceX, the first-stage booster of the Falcon 9 was launched and landed on its fourteenth occasion today. Crew-1 and Crew-2 missions to the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA are on the list of its prior space flights. The CRS-23 (Commercial Resupply Service) mission to the ISS was also launched. Five Starlink missions have now been completed by the Falcon 9's first stage.

More of these satellites will be launched into orbit by the company in the upcoming months. It has already been granted permission to put 12,000 Starlink satellites into orbit, and it has asked for permission to put another 30,000 into orbit in the future.
