Rabat: Security officials reported that Moroccan police seized 60 kilogrammes of cocaine concealed inside frozen tuna along with 5.4 tonnes of cannabis resin hidden in a truck bound for Spain.

The cannabis resin was found in Tangier's northern port "on board an international goods truck," according to a late-Saturday statement from the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN).

The truck's chassis and other cavities were fitted with specially shaped plates into which the resin blocks were pressed. The Moroccan driver, 45, was taken into custody.
