New Delhi: Not only Delhi but Gurugram in Haryana has also been deficient in oxygen amid the corona epidemic. Many hospitals are on the verge of running out of oxygen. Almost every hospital in Gurugram has asked the families of patients to manage oxygen in the wake of the oxygen crisis. Hospitals have asked the families of patients to manage oxygen themselves.

Two corona infected people on ventilator support at the Centre of Diabetes and Allied Sciences (CDAS) died on Sunday evening due to lack of oxygen. According to the hospital management, six patients have died in the district due to lack of oxygen in the last two days. Talking to the media, CDAS Vice President Raghunandan said that the local administration was also apprised of the lack of oxygen but there was no help.

Dr. Raghunandan said that we are facing a huge shortage of oxygen. The local supplier has refused to supply. We're working as much as we can with minimum oxygen supply. Another hospital doctor AK Kathuria said we are now struggling for oxygen cylinders. The situation remains the same. There is no assistance from the administration. He said my son who himself is also a doctor, is lined up for cylinders in Manesar. We need 25 cylinders of oxygen per day but can't even get eight cylinders.
