New Delhi: The strength of the Indian Air Force is going to increase further, as 6 more Rafale aircraft are coming from France this month. Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Bhadoria of the Indian Air Force is going on a tour of France from where he will be sending 6 Rafale fighter jets to India. On April 21, Rakesh Bhadoria will flag off six Rafale fighter jets from Marignac-Bordeaux airbase in southwestern France to India during the tour of France.

These fighter jets will set the stage to activate the second Rafale squadron at Hasimara in West Bengal. Let me tell you that the Indian Air Force Chief is going to visit France from April 20, and will remain in France till April 23. The six Rafale jets were first to fly to India on 28 April but were put in place a week before Air Chief Marshal Bhadoria was held for the tour. During the trip to France, Air Force chief Bhadoria will visit a French Rafale squadron, as well as meet his counterpart Philippe Levine and also visit the newly-established Space Command in Paris.

The arrival of Rafale jets sent by the Indian Airforce Chief Rakesh Bhadoria will increase the number of Rafale jets in the Indian Airforce. The arrival of these aircraft will enable the Air Force to complete 117 Golden Arrow Squadrons at Ambala with 18 aircraft and start a second squadron with 2 fourth-generation plus-fighter jets.
