Guwahati: A painful news is coming out from Assam, a horrific road accident has occurred here and 6 people lost their lives while 2 people were seriously injured in this accident. A tragic accident occurred when an SUV collided with a trailer truck parked on the roadside near National Highway-37 near Lepetak in Assam's Dibrugarh district.

At the time of the accident, the SUV car was coming at a high speed and the accident occurred due to loss of control. 5 people inside the SUV car coming at a high speed were killed. These people were going from Dibrugarh to Dhemaji. The collision was so strong that the front part of the SUV car was completely damaged. The badly injured people were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared 6 dead. Although treatment of 2 is underway, their condition is also said to be critical.

Earlier, the local police reached the spot after getting the information of the accident and with the help of the villagers pulled the bodies out of the car. It also took the injured to the hospital. Police also informed the families of the deceased and they are all reaching the hospital.
