Aurangabad: On this day, in 1630, Chhatrapati Shivaji, one of the great rulers of the country and the great Hindu warrior who shook the roots of the Mughals, was born. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Aaditya Thackeray unveiled a 61 feet high statue in Aurangabad, Maharashtra on Friday night in the presence of lakhs of people.

Due to this, along with loud fireworks, drums and laser light show near the statue of Shivaji Maharaj in Kranti Chowk complex, people started shouting slogans of 'Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji' with saffron flags in their hands, due to which the whole sky resonated. For the first time in Aurangabad, the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj was celebrated in this way, in which hundreds of lights were installed and the statue of Shivaji Maharaj was decorated with flowers from all sides.

Due to this, PM Narendra Modi has paid a soulful tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his 392nd birth anniversary.
