Lucknow: Four people have died and six have been seriously injured in a horrific collision between a pickup truck and a truck full of processions in Mehrauni of Lalitpur district in Uttar Pradesh. The police have given information about this on Saturday. Police has told that Brijendra Weaver's procession from Kotwali Pali was going towards Khatora village of Kotwali Mehrauni, in which five people were playing the drums along with ten processions in a pickup vehicle.

According to the police, when the pickup reached near village Silavan under Kotwali Mehrauni on Lalitpur road during the night time, the truck coming from Mehrauni's side collided head-on and the pickup blew up. Ten people aboard were seriously injured. After which all the injured were brought to the district hospital for treatment.

In the hospital, the doctors declared the drummer Siyaram Vanshkar (35), resident of Kasba Pali, Kalyan Weaver (55), resident of Hanupura Hirapur village of Barati police station as dead and seriously injured Ankit (18), resident of village Pali, Banshkar and the groom. Brother-in-law of Narendra Weaver's brother-in-law, Deepak Bunkar (20), resident of Gadanpur village of Narhat police station, was sent to Jhansi Medical College for treatment, who died on the way to Jhansi.
