Mumbai: The Mumbai civic body has made available a new consignment of an anti-covid-19 vaccine. In such a situation, vaccination is going to start again in the city from April 12, that is today. Vaccination is scheduled to resume in 62 out of 71 private hospitals from today. In this regard, Corporation Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal has given information last Sunday. Let us tell you that in Mumbai, 49 institutions run by the civic body and the government are working as vaccination centers, while 71 private hospitals also have the facility to administer the anti-covid-19 vaccine.

On the other hand, about 40 to 50 thousand people have been vaccinated anti-covid vaccine in Mumbai every day. Indeed, vaccination centers at 71 private hospitals in the city were not vaccinated on April 10 and 11 due to a lack of vaccines. At the same time, vaccination was going on in the municipal and government hospitals.

Recently, BMC said in a statement that "BMC received 99 thousand doses of the vaccine on 9 April while 1,34,970 doses were received on 10 April. BMC received a total of 2,33,970 doses in the last two days. The municipal body has distributed some stock to private hospitals. Vaccination will start in 62 private hospitals out of 71 from 12 April".
