An elderly person has been detained by the police in Chennai. He is accused of feeding chocolate to minor children and forcing them to watch porn. According to reports, the shocking incident came to light when a 12-year-old girl told her mother about the act of a 68-year-old man, after which the police would be informed. The victim's mother acts as a caretaker for the accused. The 12-year-old girl allegedly told her mother that Pushparaj gave her her cell phone to play games and also gave chocolate. Then, he forced a 12-year-old girl to watch pornographic videos on the phone.

It is learned that the girl told her mother that the criminal had also sexually abused her. After learning about the incident, the victim's mother lashed out at the culprit. He also found obscene things in his phone, after which he lodged an FIR with the police. A case has also been registered against the accused under the Information Technology (IT) Act and Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act.

In the midst of the investigation, the police found that 3 other minors had been similarly abused by the elderly accused in a similar manner. The police also detained the culprits on Saturday, and sent them to judicial custody.
