New Delhi: The funeral of former President of the country Pranab Mukherjee will be done on Tuesday i.e. today. His body will be kept at his official residence in the country's capital so that people can pay him the last tribute. The last rites of Pranab Mukherjee will be done from 11.00 am to 12.00 am. His last rites will be performed at 2 pm on Tuesday at the Lodhi Road crematorium.

The government has announced a six-day state mourning on the death of the former president. The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared a state mourning in India from 31 August to 6 September in honor of the late honorable leader. During this time, the national flag will remain half-tilted on all those buildings in the country where the flag remains straight. The tricolor on Rashtrapati Bhavan has been tilted in honor of former President Pranab Mukherjee today.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee passes away in Delhi hospital

A note has been issued by the Ministry of Defense regarding the funeral of Pranab Mukherjee, in which complete information has been given from the last visit to the time of the funeral. The last rites of Pranab Mukherjee's body will be performed at his residence at 10, Rajaji Marg, New Delhi. The time for the floral tribute for the official dignitaries has been kept from 9:15 am to 10:15 am. Other dignitaries will pay their last respects from 10:15 am to 11:00 pm. The time of the last visit for ordinary citizens has been kept from 11:00 to 12:00.
