Dehradun: National Secretary General of Congress Harish Rawat will now protest against the state government on the issue of unemployment. Through this webinar, Harish also connected with the youth. Claiming two lakh hits on the Facebook page, he said that it also expresses how much the issue of unemployment has become hot in the state.

In the webinar, Rawat said that there are no new recruitments in the state, and there are many types of problems in self-employment too. In COVID-19, this threat of unemployment has become more acute. Rawat announced to keep a fast on this issue on September 1, and said that it is not a political war in any way but a fight for the livelihood of the youth. Rawat said that he will talk to the state government on this issue himself.

In this webinar, the youth raised the issue of Forest Guard recruitment exam, and said that this case was hanging in the name of testing. About one and a half lakh youths had applied for recruitment of more than 1700 forest guards in the state. This exam is being conducted by the SIT after the case of rigging in the exam. At the same time, some youths also said that only after the formation of a secretariat in Garsain, the issue of employment will come fully in front of the government. The youth belonging to IT category said that GI tag should be arranged for local products. Many issues can be discussed with this.
