Dehradun: The state government is taking the first step on Vocal for Local on the core mantra of PM Narendra Modi. An action plan of every city has been selected in the field of agriculture, enterprise and tourism. Now the government will take steps through one district one product strategy, and will emphasize increasing the livelihood of the farmers and local people of the state. The blueprint is ready.

According to CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, the government has engaged in the work to convert this challenging phase of coronavirus into an opportunity with the help of the people of the state. The government is constantly giving relaxation in the rules and regulations to encourage investment. 15 amendments have been made in the labour laws. So far 15 new policies have been made for business. The government's emphasis is on the campaign 'Make in India'.

The government is now focused on local products. The intention is to identify each city of the state by its products and its resorts. The government has started work on a plan to construct a development centre in every panchayat. 96 development centres have been approved in the state.

Some development centres have started working with the participation of local villagers. According to CM Rawat, the development centre, one district one product, Chief Minister self-employment schemes will bring a big improvement in the state's economy. Development centres in Thatud, Lohaghat and Thano are doing excellent work. 96 development centres have been approved. Product, manufacturing and tourism sectors have been selected in every city. All these works will be done with 100 per cent share of the local people.
