Lucknow: The story of the tragic boat accident in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh has come to the fore. According to the report, when the boat was in the middle, a snake came on the boat. Due to the snake, there was a stampede-like situation on the boat and the boat sank. 8 people drowned in this accident, in which 7 people have lost their lives. The bodies of five people were retrieved by the NDRF team this morning, while a girl child is still missing.
It is noteworthy that a total of 8 people were drowned in a boat accident that took place a day earlier in Aththa village under Sewrai tehsil of Ghazipur. Out of this, 3 people were rescued late in the evening, out of which two died, while one went home after being cured and 5 people went missing. Out of the bodies of 5 missing people, 4 people were recovered in the morning. At the same time, a girl is still said to be missing, for which the team of district administration along with NDRF and the local diver is engaged in finding her. During this, along with the villagers, the district administration is also present on the spot.
Along with this, they told that this incident has happened due to a snake. These people praised the work being done by the district administration. On this whole matter, SDM Arun Kumar Singh has informed that a rescue operation is going on with the help of NDRF, PAC and local divers, with the help of which all the drowned people have been rescued.
