Lucknow: The difficulties of former Uttar Pradesh MLA and mafia don Mukhtar Ansari and his brother Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Afzal Ansari seem to be increasing. Ghazipur's MP-MLA court is about to pronounce its verdict against Mukhtar and Afzal in the gangster case registered in the famous Krishnanand Rai murder case after 18 years. In this case, the decision was to come earlier on 15 April but later the date was extended to 29 April.

Let us tell you that in November 2005, 7 people including the then BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai were brutally murdered in Basaniya Chatti of Muhammadabad police station area of ​​Ghazipur. At that time there was a Samajwadi Party (SP) government in UP under the leadership of Mulayam Singh. After this, when the government changed and Mayawati became the CM, then two years later, a case was registered under the Gangster Act in 2007 against Afzal Ansari, his brother Mafia Don Mukhtar Ansari and brother-in-law Ejazul Haq. Mukhtar's brother-in-law Ejazul Haq has passed away. 

The trial started in the year 2012: –

After 7 years of Krishnanand Rai's murder, the trial in this case started in Ghazipur's MP-MLA court in 2012. The final arguments in this matter were completed on 1 April. After this, the judge had fixed the date of April 15 for the verdict. Afzal Ansari has a case of Krishnanand Rai murder case registered in the gang chart, while another case against Mukhtar Ansari is Rungta kidnapping and murder case. ADGC Criminal Neeraj Srivastava had told in the past that in the gangster case, there can be a maximum punishment of 10 years. At the same time, Afzal Ansari had said earlier also that he has been acquitted in this case and he had also gone to the High Court in this case, but he did not get relief. Tell that, in the case of Mafia Mukhtar Ansari, 10 witnesses, while in the case of Afzal Ansari, 7 witnesses have testified during the trial in this case.

500 rounds of firing took place on Krishnanand Rai's convoy:-

Let us tell you that on November 29, 2005 in Ghazipur, a total of 7 people, including the then BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai from Mohammadabad, were openly gunned down. This murder was carried out due to electoral enmity. Mukhtar Ansari and Afzal were made accused in this murder case. In fact, Krishnanand Rai had defeated Mukhtar's brother Afzal Ansari in the 2002 elections from the Mohammadabad assembly seat where the Ansari brothers used to speak. Due to which Mukhtar and Afzal were enraged. Let us tell you that Krishnanand Rai was murdered when he was invited as the chief guest in a local cricket tournament organized in Siyadi village of Bhanvarkol block. When he was returning after inaugurating the match, the attackers ambushed near Basaniya Chatti fired 500 rounds from AK-47 on Krishnanand Rai's convoy. 7 people lost their lives in this broad daylight shooting. 


 

Mukhtar Ansari's relation with Congress: -

Tell that, Mukhtar Ansari has old family relations with Congress, gangster's grandfather Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari has been the National President of Congress. And Hamid Ansari, who was the Vice President of the country for 10 years, is Mukhtar's uncle. Tell that, Hamid Ansari was also accused of putting the lives of RAW agents in danger when he was the Vice President. The result of these relations with the Congress was that the Congress government of Punjab made every possible effort to keep Mukhtar in its jail. It was later revealed that the Punjab government was giving VIP treatment to Mukhtar in jail. Harjot Singh Bains, a minister in the AAP government in Punjab, had claimed that the previous Congress government gave VIP treatment to Mukhtar in jail and spent Rs 55 lakh on amenities. Tell that, Mukhtar was imprisoned in Punjab jail for 2 years and 3 months. Later, on the orders of the Supreme Court, Mukhtar was shifted to Banda Jail in UP. Now Punjab's CM Bhagwant Mann has also refused to pay Rs 55 lakh spent on Mukhtar's luxuries. Will not do it at all.
