Sagar: In Damoh district of MP state, a total of 7 people have lost their lives in three incidents of lightning due to intense rain on Tuesday. 3 members of the same family are also present among these dead, while one is said to be seriously injured. Giving information about the same, Superintendent of Police, Damoh district, Hemant Chauhan said that 7 people have lost their lives due to lightning strikes in the district. These incidents have taken place in 3 different places in the district.

He said that the incident of the celestial lightning incident on Tuesday evening on the people working in a field in Chhoti Lamti village, coming to the Tejgarh police station, is becoming increasingly viral. 5 people died while one was injured. These include Lakhan Yadav (35) of the village, his wife Savitri Bai (32) and his son Narendra (7), and Jalam son Ramlal Adivasi (21) and Prembai Adivasi (50), residents of village Chhoti Lamati.

In this case, he told that in this accident, Lakhan Yadav's second son Chhotu Yadav (12) is seriously injured. Chauhan further said that all these people were working in the field at the time of the accident. Apart from this, a person named Pritam (38) has died due to thunderbolt in Sataria village of Patera police station, he said. Whereas in Kunwarpur village, Gopal Patel (48) lost his life due to lightning.
