Giving information about the same, Superintendent of Police, Damoh district, Hemant Chauhan said that 7 people have lost their lives due to lightning strikes in the district. These incidents have taken place in 3 different places in the district.

He said that the incident of the celestial lightning incident on Tuesday evening on the people working in a field in Chhoti Lamti village, coming to the Tejgarh police station, is becoming increasingly viral. 5 people died while one was injured. These include Lakhan Yadav (35) of the village, his wife Savitri Bai (32) and his son Narendra (7), and Jalam son Ramlal Adivasi (21) and Prembai Adivasi (50), residents of village Chhoti Lamati.
