Kolkata: A sensational case has come to light in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. On Saturday night, thieves robbed a 70-year-old woman's house and then raped the old man. The incident has created a stir in the area. A similar incident has also come to the fore in Malda district of North Bengal. Here 51-year-old woman Baby Bibi was murdered in Sheikhpura village. The woman's son is a police volunteer. When the son came back from duty, the mother's body was found lying in the house. In the incident in South 24 Parganas, thieves entered the hut of an old woman.

The roof of the hut was made of bamboo and tiles, which the thieves broke into the house. The elderly woman alleges that the thieves raped her and fled with a sewing machine. Neighbors came running after the woman shouted. During this, blood was continuously flowing from the woman's body. A district police officer said on the condition of anonymity that the neighbors had come to save the woman. He has told blood from the woman's body. We have identified 6 suspects and they have been taken into custody. These people are being questioned.

In Malda, the victim's son Mohammad Rafikul Islam said that he is posted at Manikchal police station. His father Sheikh Sajid works as a laborer in Delhi. Islam told that, 'I suspect that thieves entered my house, I think my mother tried to stop the thieves and she was killed for stopping them. In the last few months, many drug addict thieves have carried out several thefts. I suspect only those people for carrying out this incident. Manikchak police station in-charge Akshay Paul said that a case of murder has been registered in this case and the accused will be arrested soon.
