New Delhi:  In a ghastly incident, a 7-year-old girl minor was raped and murdered by two men on Diwali night. Kanpur Police has said that the girl's liver was also extracted for tantric practices after her rape and murder. The cops further said that the two accused were paid by one of the girl's relatives Parshuram to get her liver for occult practice. 

This incident is reported from Bhadras village in Kanpur (Rural). Parshuram handed the task to his nephew Ankur, who along with other person Beeran raped and killed the minor and later extracted her liver for executing tantric practice. Parshuram's wife relative had been childless since her marriage in 1999 and believed that eating a girl's liver as part of tantric practise will help her conceive.

In this case, Police have arrested the couple and the two men for allegedly committing the crime.  They paid the duo Rs 1,500 for the work and they used the money to buy alcohol.  According to SP (Rural) Brijesh Kumar Srivastava, the youths told police that they raped the girl before strangling her. Later, they extracted her organs after cutting open her stomach. The autopsy report of the girl shows shock and hemorrhage due to ante-mortem injuries as a cause of death. According to the report, An FIR has been filed against the accused under Sections 302 (murder) and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of Indian Penal Code (IPC). Cops have also invoked sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act in the FIR.  The two youths admitted to the crime.
