New Delhi: A retired IFS officer committed suicide in the Defense Colony area of South Delhi. The officer has finished his life by shooting himself. The name of the deceased is Ranjit Sethi and his age is 81 years. After receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot.

According to Delhi Police, on Wednesday (24 February) at 7.25 am, PCR call information revealed that a man shot himself in the house of the Defense Colony area. After which the force was sent immediately on the spot and the injured person was taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared him dead. Investigation revealed that Ranjit Sethi was running ill. A day before he was discharged from BL Kapoor Hospital. After being discharged, he came to his house yesterday and shot himself in his room today. Sethi was a retired IFS officer. At present, the police is investigating the case.

It is being told that the body of the deceased Ranjit Sethi was taken by the police and taken to the hospital for post-mortem. After the post mortem, the body will be handed over to the family members. Also, further investigation will be done in the case. The police team visited the spot and inspected the spot thoroughly. At the moment, no information has been found about why he has gone to suicide.
