Lucknow: Millions of people of the country have come under the grip of Corona epidemic. Meanwhile, in Lucknow on Sunday, the COVID-19 report of 814 people came positive while 11 infected people died. Earlier on Saturday, 671 people were hit by COVID-19, and 14 of the infected people lost their lives. A total of 1485 were found infected, and 25 people died of coronavirus. The total number of infected in the capital reached 17461.

In Indiranagar, 52 people have been found infected in Gomtinagar and 47 in Alambagh. 25 were found in Madianv, 30 in Jankipuram, 34 in Cantt, 38 in Aliganj, 24 in Vikasnagar, 17 in Ashiana, 21 in Marketkhala, 13 in Aminabad.  Jaideep Verma, Chief Principal Manager of the Technical Unit of Roadways has been hit by COVID-19. While many other officers of the technical unit are suffering from fever, who are undergoing treatment at home. The technical wing's office was sanitized on Sunday. With this, there is a continuous increase in the cases of corona in the state.

On the other hand, during the lockdown, people were asked to offer namaz at home instead of gathering at the masjid. The police raided and arrested people for offering namaz in bulk. During this, six accused were arrested. Before sending them to jail, the report of one of the accused came up positive after the test. After which there was a stir among the police officers and the accused who were with him in lockup.
