Gorakhpur: After the rape of a minor girl in Lakhimpur Kheri, UP. A minor Dalit teenager was brutalized, and on protest, she was burnt with cigarettes. Congress attacked the UP government in this matter. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that Jungle Raj is on top in Uttar Pradesh.

बुलंदशहर की घटना यूपी में कानून के डर के खात्मे और महिलाओं के लिए फैले असुरक्षा के माहौल को दिखाती है।

ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि प्रशासन छेड़खानी की घटनाओं को गंभीरता से नहीं लेता।

इसके लिए व्यापक फेरबदल की जरूरत है। महिलाओं पर होने वाले हर तरह के अपराध पर जीरो टॉलरेंस होना चाहिए।

Rahul Gandhi tweeted and said, "Jungle raj is on top of ethnic violence and rape in Uttar Pradesh. Now one more heinous incident- Sarpanch Satyamev being a Dalit said 'No', due to which he was murdered. Condolences to the family members of Satyamev Ji".

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, "Bulandshahr, Hapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, and now Gorakhpur. With such continuous incidents, it proves that the UP government has completely failed in providing security to women. There is no fear of law in the minds of the accused. As a result of this, gruesome incidents of crime against women are increasing". Priyanka Gandhi Vadra further wrote "Police and administration are neither able to give security nor are able to take action properly. The UP government should review law and order, and make every arrangement related to the safety of women seriously. Also, such incidents in the state are making the situation more frightening".
