Raising slogans of Inquilab Zindabad, Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Jai Shri Ram, people are asking for jobs. The third wave of corona in the country has knocked in the form of a new variant of the virus, Omicron. Corona cases are increasing rapidly, it is not right for the state to demonstrate such ambulance workers.
These people are employees of UP 108 and 102 ambulances, GVK EMRI these ambulance employees were recruited in the company. The company provides drivers for ambulances to the UP government. During the Corona period, these drivers worked in 108, 102 ambulances. But as soon as the cases subsided, the GVK EMRI company sacked 9,000 ambulance employees. Since then these people have been unemployed. They raise their voices from time to time, but there has been no hearing yet.
Ambulance employees say the GVK EMRI company fired 9,000 people in a flash without notice. There are also allegations that the company also harasses ambulance employees, when people raise their voices, they are fired. An ambulance union spokesperson said they went on strike in September last year over their demands, after which 9,000 people were fired simultaneously. Hurt by this, 4 employees had committed suicide.
