Kolkata: Some good news is also coming in the midst of global epidemic coronavirus. In Kolkata, a 94-year-old veteran has won the war with the Coronavirus and thus has become the oldest person to defeat Corona in Bengal. Lal Mohan Seth, who lives in Maniktala, North Kolkata, was discharged from the Calcutta Medical College (CMC) Hospital on Thursday after spending a fortnight in the hospital.

Lal Mohan Seth was admitted to the Covid-19 Hospital in CMC on June 9 due to fever, breathing problems and hypoxia. Later on June 13, his corona report was found positive. According to Dr. Indranil Biswas, Medical Superintendent at the hospital, Lal Mohan Seth's immunity was very good despite his age, which helped him recover faster and recover.

Talking to the media, Dr. Indranil Biswas told that when he came here, he had trouble breathing. He had to arrange oxygen, but ventilator support was not needed. He had hyper tension and we had to keep hydration and electrolyte balanced. Gradually, he started showing signs of recovery and could breathe without oxygen. The father of 5 children, 94-year-old businessman was initially hesitant to admit in the hospital, but the family is happy with the treatment he received at CMC.
