In Tamil Nadu capital, Chennai, man burnt a young woman just because the woman turned down his proposal to get married. The accused was a former classmate of that young woman. Police said that her sister and mother were also in a hurry to save the victim.
She has been admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. B.Tech graduate and working in an IT company Induja died on the spot. The accused Akash had set him on fire on Monday night. The police have arrested him.
According to the police, Akash and Induja, who left college studies in the middle, had studied in a single school. He was insisting on marriage to Induja. The sky was following Induja for the last several days. On Monday night, she reached her apartment, where she lived and called her out. As soon as Induja came out with her mother and sister, the poured petrol on her and set her on fire.
