Gulshan Kumar the founder of the T-Series music label and a Bollywood movie producer was shot dead at Jeeteshwar Mahadev Mandir in Mumbai by Mumbai underworld organization D-Company where Dawood Ibrahim was also involved. His son who now handles the Super Cassettes firm has previously announced for the biopic named ‘Mogul’ to pay tribute to his father.
Now with Bhushan Kumar, Aamir Khan also came forth to took the responsibility of production and it was announced that Aamir Khan Production will also contribute to the biographical project.
The Subhash Kapoor directorial is scheduled to release on 2019’s Christmas and will be on the floor from the beginning of the next year. Kapoor has also associated himself with the writing part.

Notably, Akshay Kumar will portray Gulshan Kumar and he has confirmed the same with words: “I had the good fortune of knowing Gulshan-ji well and had a close association with him right from my first film Saugandh. We both shared many things in common and come from a similar background. I am very excited to play him on-screen,” Indian Express reports suggested.
The writer-director of ‘Mogul’ once expressed that “When Vikram Malhotra shared the idea of the film with me it was a feeling of disbelief.
