As we all know that Paris is the hub of many significant museums. Tourists from across the world visit Paris every year. But now we have some good news for museum lovers.  The Louvre is now ready to begin a stint in Abu Dhabi. Louvre Abu Dhabi museum will soon be inaugurated by Arab leaders, alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.

The Abu Dhabi Museum comes after Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates agreed to a partnership, wherein reportedly billions of dollars have been traded for the rights of the brand name (Louvre) alone.

The beautiful Louvre Abu Dhabi museum welcomes its visitors with a two-headed Neolithic statue from Jordan right at the entrance. It is considered to be one of the oldest known museums to mankind. The two-headed statue represents duality, looking back and toward the future, and also toward both East and West. This is a theme that runs all across the museum. The Louvre Abu Dhabi opening is definitely going to be a momentous event for all art lovers.

The artworks here offer a history of the world, which includes all the major religions. There are artworks that portray subtle nudity, in compliance to the conservative societal structure of the nation. The collection here in the museum includes, Vincent van Gogh’s Self-Portrait, Auguste Rodin’s Jean d’Aire and the sculpture Apollo Belvedere by Primatice. Visitors will also find ancient masterpieces such as white marble Head of Buddha from China, and a red Chinese lacquer chest of drawers produced in France by Bernard II van Risenburgh.
