Amarnath Yatra has been stopped in view of the untimely death of Terrorist Burhan Wani in the valley. On Saturday, the pilgrimage was restored from Baltal on Saturdays. Passengers were also sent from traditional Pahalgam track. Internet services have also been seized there.

On the other hand, 2203 pilgrims were sent from Jammu base camp to Pahalgam but they did not send the passengers through the Baltal route. Commuters protested with jam from Jammu to Nagrota. Meanwhile, 10107 Shiv devotees visited Amarnath on the tenth day on Saturday. With this, the figure has reached 83130. 

Travelling from Baltal and Pahalgam Air Passage service is still continuing. When the weather cleared, a group of 2200 passengers from the Baltal were released in the morning. In the past, torrential rains, landslides have hit the Baltal track in many places, which are being repaired at war level. 

District Commissioner Ganderbal Piyush Singla told that the journey has been restored towards the Amarnath cave via Baltal. The security arrangements have been made for the safety of the passengers. Thousands of passengers have been stopped in different parts of the Jammu division keeping safety in mind. 

Air Force's MI-17 helicopter was evacuated on the second day of the rescue operation to remove stranded passengers in Panchajartani. In this, 241 passengers were taken to the safe place. 567 passengers have been evacuated in the last two days. Due to landslides and damage to the track, these pilgrims were stopped in Panchajartani.
