Ambareesh's Funeral: Last Rites of Rebel Actor to perform in Bengaluru Today, 8,000 Policemen Deployed

The final rites of actor-turned-politician Ambareesh, who died due to cardiac arrest, will be performed on Monday at the Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru in the midst of heavy police deployment. The
HD Kumaraswamy government has announced a state funeral for the late well known film actor, while trade of liquor has also been banned here.

The mortal remains of the late film actor was taken from the private hospital where he passed away to his home on Saturday night and was shifted to Kanteerava Stadium for people to pay last respects on Sunday.

As his body was flown to Mandya, section 144 of the CrPC, which bans assembly of more than four persons at a spot, was imposed from Sunday evening to Monday morning to steer clear of unwanted congregation of people.

Karnataka state government has declared a three-day mourning in the honour of the ace veteran politician.

Almost 8,000 policemen will be stationed in Bengaluru where the body would be taken from Kanteerava Stadium to Kanteerava Studio in a funeral procession. Government sources staed the last rites will be performed at the studio. Titans from the south film industry and big names in the political circles are likely to be present at his funeral.
