PATNA: BJP president Amt Shah lashed out the grand old party Congress from the soil of Bihar's capital Patna.
In his address to the public rally ahead of LS polls 2019, he once again called for Congress-Mukt-Bharat. He also attacked Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Calling him Rahul Baba. He hailed the Modi-led centre Government initiatives.
Amid clashes in ties between Bihar's ruling associates, BJP chief Amit Shah today paid visit to settle the crucial issue of seat sharing for the 2019 LS elections to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna.
Deputy CM Sushil Modi also was present when Amit Shah and CM Nitish Kumar met.
After arriving in Patna this morning, the BJP president headed for breakfast with the Bihar Chief Minister.
The important talks will be tonight's dinner, during which the two leaders are likely to talk about the controversial subject but before that, Amit Shah is expected to meet the leaders and workers of the state unit to thrash out the ground situation.
Only just a year down their coalition last July, seat sharing has become a prickly issue between the two parties .Last week, senior party leader KC Tyagi said that party will not support with the BJP for polls in four states. He added that his party contested in Gujarat, in Nagaland, in Karnataka on limited seats, Now JD(U )aims to carry the political agenda of the party.
