Amit Shah to visit Kerala to review preparations for 2019 Elections

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP chief Amit Shah will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday for a one-day visit for reviewing the preparations for the upcoming 2019 LS polls, according to report by news agency PTI.

For Amit Shah working out poll strategies will be main focus .on the agenda. Amit Shah will also be present at a party core committee meeting that will conduct in the morning on July 3.

Shah will also address leaders from selected districts. The BJP sources confirmed that he would hold talks with the leaders from Lakshadweep. BJP Chief’s visit comes amid doubt within the party to go on with the party's new state president after the appointment of present Kummanam Rajasekharan as the Governor of Mizoram in May.

As no agreement could be received by the saffron party, the negotiations to bring in a new state chief are taking place at diverse levels.

BJP that is all set to face Lok Sabha polls, one of the main factors of be anxious is the party's tensed relation with partner Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS). The harassed relations are so due to BDJS had steered clear from the campaign at the current Chengannur Assembly bypoll, where the BJP candidate came third.
