Adding the sequel to the luxury phone list, Apple is planning to bring the foldable screen to the iPhone by 2020. According to a report, Apple Consumer Electronics Co. will team up with LG to create phones with foldable screens. 

This is not the first news attached to the iPhone, even before the introduction of foldable display in the iPhone, it has been said in many reports. A report before it was said that LG's display-maker will soon produce a large amount of foldable screen for Apple which might come into the market soon.

LG has done several foldable display shows earlier, including a display-turned-like display from a curved display to a newspaper. LG uses a flexible OLED panel for a foldable display.

Foldable display technology can take a little longer to market, hopefully, these phones can come in the market by 2020. Samsung had supplied OLED displays for the newly launched iPhone X and it is expected that Samsung will supply the display for the 2018 iPhone too.

Similar reports about Apple working with LG on the foldable OLED panel surfaced a year ago. Note that the foldable display technology is different from the current bendable OLED technology which supports pressure sensitive input but not the actual folding.
