Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who held the post of country's prime minister three times, was also very popular among his opponents. Eighteen years ago, he received the Screen Awards for an album of his poems. Atal Bihari Vajpayee won the Screen Award for Best Lyricist for his album in 2000. At the beginning of 2000, Ananya Goenka of Indian Express Group then honoured Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee with Best Non-Film Lyrics Award. In fact, due to being busy at that time, he was not present at the awards, so the award was given to him at his residence.
