Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been a personality whose life has been unquestionable. In his tenure, Atalji was never charged with any sort of personal allegation.

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Bollywood legend actor Dilip Kumar's relationship have been very good. They were so close to each other that for Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dilip Kumar had advised the then Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif to mind his behavior and to maintain some courtesy.

This sentence of Dilip Kumar has been mentioned in former Pakistani Foreign Minister Khurshid Kasuri's book, ‘Neither a Hawk nor a Dove'.

The book states, "Once Atal Bihari Vajpayee had called Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif to end the war and on Vajpayee’s behalf, Actor Dilip Kumar took the front. Nawaz was shocked to hear the voice of Dilip Kumar. '

The relations of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and actor Dilip Kumar were quite good, and many such occasions have been observed when the two were seen together. During Pakistan's Kargil intrusion, there was an occasion when Dilip Kumar scolded the then Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif for Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Dilip had also advised Sharif to stay with 'Sharafat'. Dilip Kumar told Nawaz Sharif, "Mian Sahib, we did not expect such from you, because you have always said that you want peace between India and Pakistan."

Dilip Kumar spoke to Nawaz Sharif on the behalf of Atal ji and said, "I would like to tell you as an Indian Muslim that in a circumstance of tension between Pakistan and India, Indian Muslims become very insecure and they are from their homes. It seems too difficult to get out. So do something in controlling the situation. '
