In the counting of votes of  MCD polls, yesterday as per the trends came out the Bharatiya Janata Party was ahead leaving behind other parties. Finally, when the results came out the BJP Symbol lotus blossomed.

The BJP won the polls in  Delhi's three municipal corporations, North, East and South with  181 seats out of 270 seats. On the second spot was the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with 48 seats while Congress was in the third position with 29 seats.

The 12  seats were won by the  Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Samajwadi Party (SP), Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Independents.
