BMC send notice to Priyanka Chopra for illegal construction

MUMBAI: Priyanka Chopra recived a notice from BMC for unauthorized construction in the premises of her office and her another adjoining commercial premise which she has rented out.

 The owner of a commercial premise, at Oshiwara in Andheri (West) actor and the Padrma Shri awardee is now on target of BMC.

BMC stated that they have got five complaints from people who visited the Charisma Beauty Spa and Salon along with a municipal corporator. They alleged in the complaint that prohibited alteration on this spa along with an illegal mezzanine floor.

BMC review the premises and found the breach of laws. BMC also analyzed the adjoining premised which is said to be use as office by Chopra family and found infringement of law there too at Vastu Precinct building.

 Following this violation BMC send two separate notices to the owners-occupants of both the premises.

Manik Soni, manages the spa who told the BMC official that he had took the premise on rent after signing agreement and entered into deal with Priyanka Chopra and her mother.

Unauthorized creation of full height partition cabins by ply-sheet and glass walls, unauthorized merger and unlawful construction of mezzanine floors are found by BMC.

BMC officials asked to eliminate the illegal alteration and restore the original structure according to the BMC sanctioned plan in June 2013, otherwise they will knock down the structure after a month. The actor has option to regularize some of the irregularities after paying fine.
