Disha Vakhani aka Daya ben shared her daughter’s first picture on Instagram

The epic love story of Salim and Anarkali is all set to hit the small screen. Soon a show reminding the superhit film Mughal-e-Azam will go on air on television. The show is titled Mughal-E-Azam.

Makers of the show recently approached actress Barkha Sengupta to play the role of Jodha Bai, who was Salim's mother. Barkha had even given a look test and was quite excited about the show. But soon she changed her mind when she comes to know that she has to portray the role of Salim’s mother. Though she doesn’t have any problem portraying the role of a mother Salim is to be played by Shaheer. 

The reason Barkha stepped out of the show is that there is not much age difference between Barkha and shaheer. She is only 38 years old and Shaheer is 34 years old. She doesn’t want to be the mother of a 34-year-old man when she is just 38. she decided to quit the show. She said she is not suitable for the role. She doesn’t as old as the character demands.

In real life, Barkha is a mother of 6 years old girl. She was last seen in the show Namkaran. She is currently working in the show ‘shrimaan shrimati phir se’.

The detective Drama show Dev is back with its second season.
