Two BSF troopers have been killed in an encounter with the Naxalites in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh while another jawan has been injured. According to the information, the Naxalites fired at the jawans who were on the search operation and the bullets shot them dead. The martyrs were from the 175th battalion of the BSF. The MI-17 helicopter flew to bring the injured jawan to Raipur but due to bad weather, the helicopter had to return through the middle. The condition of the injured jawan is being reported as delicate.

The incident happened around 3.45 am on Sunday morning when the Naxalites fired at the blue BSF squad on patrol. This area belongs to Partapur Police Station. It is being told that the body of martyrs' jawans has been taken to BSF headquarters in Pankhwar, where they will be given final farewell.
