Congress “celebrating the release of Pakistani terrorist” Saeed: PM Modi

NEW DELHI:  With huge anger, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday slammed the Congress of "celebrating the release of Pakistani terrorist” and 26/11 terror attack instigator Hafiz Saeed.

PM Modi alleged during a campaign address in Bhuj, Gujarat. PM was delivered his address in Gujarati and his personal Twitter handle tweeted in English citation of his dialogue. His allegation comes days after Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi tagged the release of the LeT Supremo a “hugplomacy failure" of PM Narendra Modi and Donald Trump.

"A Pakistani court released a Pakistani terrorist and the Congress is celebrating. I was surprised why. And this same Congress refused to believe our own army on surgical strikes and preferred to believe the Chinese Ambassador," PM Modi’s twitter handle tweeted.

 

 

The latter part of his quote refers to the fact that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi met with China's ambassador to India strike hammer in the middle of a grave border heated discussion between India and China at Doklam near the Sikkim border.

"When our soldiers were standing eye-to-eye in Doklam for 70 days, why were you hugging the Chinese ambassador," the PM Modi quoted, according to PTI news agency.

The PM today also criticized the previous UPA government for its handling of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks instigator Saeed. However, PM Modi didn't indicate what he found obnoxious about how the UPA dealt with it.
