A case of suicide of a minor girl has been brought into the light in the Tilak Vihar police post in Delhi. Around 1 a.m. on Saturday night, the girl has hanged herself with a fan. The girl's mother says that her neighbour, Happy Singh, wanted to marry her girl, but due to being a minor, they did not agree to get married. By 10 o'clock on Saturday night, when the girl did not arrive home, the villagers went to the house of Happy Singh to find out about her. 

They told the girl's family that their girl was kidnapped. Her family said that, after questioning about the girl, Happy Singh and her family members also beat them, who complained to them in the Tilak Vihar police post also. In the meantime, when the police took the MLC to the girl's brothers, the girl suddenly reached the police station. 

The brother of the injured girl says that inside the checkpoint, he was placed in a separate room while the girl was in a different room. Shortly after this, the girl started fussing. The girl's brother says that she was watching from the second room that her sister was hanging herself. He even raised voice for help, but no policeman came for help. After that, he broke his gate and entered that room, but it was late by then. 

Police of this entire case are now investigating. The deceased's dead body is still hanging from the fan. In this case, police negligence is clearly visible. According to DCP West Vijay Kumar, there was a dispute between the two families. This was a fight about the friendship of a minor girl and a 20 year old boy from another family. When the police reached the police station, a minor girl who came out of the house at around 10 o'clock came to the police post at around 2,30 o'clock in the night.

She also herself wrote the statement that "I do not want to return to my house. My brothers and my family have beaten me up. I was sitting in the Gurudwara from 10 o'clock in the night. Then the lady policeman prepared to send the minor girl to Nari Niketan till the girl was locked in the room of the police post. The girl hung herself from the fan with the support of the table and died."
