Deoria(Uttar Pradesh) :After Muzaffarpur Shelter Home sexual molestation case, Deoria shelter home case has now surfaced where minor girls rescued after the complaint was lodged by escapee girl of this shelter center. CM has ordered for the removal of Deoria's DM Sujit Kumar and further action will be taken against him after the reports come, said Rita Bahuguna Joshi, UP Women & Child Welfare Minister on Deoria Shelter Home Case

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has sent a two-member high level committee to Deoria for the investigation and they will stay there today and submit a report, following which action will be taken, Rita Bahuguna Joshi, assured.

On the other hand, “Truth will be brought out”, ADG (law & order) Sri Anand Kumar said to the reporters on Deoria shelter home case.

He further said that it’ll be investigated and the concerned district admin is already taking action in this regard, while Women & child development ministry is also looking into the matter. He further said that The children will be sent for medical examination. 

Worth mention here  A Couple has arrested for running shelter home in UP without a license by CBI where 24 girls were rescued from a shelter home in Uttar Pradesh’s Deoria city yesterday. The girls alleged that the owners of the shelter home forced them to involve in grey business. The incident exposed when a 10-year-old inmate ran away and approached a police station.

Unearthing the dreadfulness going on at the shelter home, the Deoria police and CBI held a raid at the shelter home and rescued the girls. Following the girl’s allegations, The shelter home’s license was also cancelled. According to the reports, the girl, who ran away told the police that all inmates received servant-like treatment at the shelter home.

She also told the cops that a number of cars came to pick girls who were above 15 years old and the girls came crying the next day.

On a related note, the shelter home had a total of 42 girls out of which, 18 are said to be missing.The city police have arrested the shelter home’s proprietor- Girija Tripathi and her husband in alleged links with the case. Both the man and his wife were managers at the shelter home.
