One of the most promising actors of the southern movies, Dulquer Salmaan is confident enough for his Bollywood debut, Karwaan. The movie also stars Mithila Palkar and the extremely talented Irrfan Khan and is being helmed by Akarsh Khurana.
Sources informed that Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour and is being treated in London. In his alleged interview to the Mumbai Mirror, Dulquer Salmaan shared that he was really shocked and disheartened to be informed of Irrfan's ill health. Well' the actor hasn't been in a continued contact with Irrfan, he believes that he would soon recover and get back to work.
Dulquer couldn't stop praising his co-star Irrfan and asserted, "I’m a huge fan and he was amazing to work with. Whenever I’ve collaborated with seniors, including Mani sir (director Mani Ratnam), I’ve noticed that they are always on the lookout for the next magical script. Ditto, Irrfan sir. He was curious about Malayalam cinema and filmmakers down South."
Karwaan is a movie based on an adventurous road trip, Dulquer revealed, "I’m a big road trip guy. My first trip was in college. The excitement of going to a new place with a bunch of people is unparalleled. In our busy lives, it’s important to have a hobby and cars charge me up while long drives are rejuvenating."
The movie is scheduled to release on August 3, 2018.
