Final trial Super-fast Talgo train to held tommorow, aims to reduce travel time between Delhi and Mumbai

New Delhi, The final of a if a Spanish-made train, the Talgo will be conducted tomorrow to check whether the train can slash the journey from between Delhi and Mumbai by four hours, delivering passengers at just under 12 hours to their destination.

Spanish firm Talgo manufactured the nine coaches, and it can hit 200 kms per hour, were imported to Mumbai in April.

It has been scheduled that the train will depart Delhi at 2:45 pm tomorrow and will reach Mumbai in 11 hours and 45 minutes, while running at 150 kms per hour.

It is not clear yet, that the Talgo will be available for passengers or not. With the railway staff, technicians from Talgo are on board during the trial.

The nine-coach Talgo train consists of two Executive Class cars, four Chair Cars, a cafeteria, a power car and a tail-end coach for staff and equipment.
