FForensic report reveals that Sridevi died due to accidental drowning. Initially it came in light that the Veteran Bollywood actress passed away due to cardiac arrest while she was readying herself for a surprise dinner with husband Boney Kapoor. Afterward foresnic reports removed the air by clarifying the cause of death as accidental drowning in her bath tub.
According to sources, forensic report of the veteran actor has been handed over to her family and an embassy official. "It has been sent to the Bur Dubai police station. Both the representatives have gone to the police station with it. Once it is opened by Dubai Police and the information revealed to them, the next step for the process of repatriation will be decided," the news report claimed. The report further claims that Boney woke Sridevi up and the couple spoke to each other for 15 minutes before he invited her for dinner. On not getting any response, he had to force open the door to discover Sridevi lying motionless in the bathtub filled with water. "He tried to revive her and when he could not, he called a friend of his. After that, he informed the police at 9 pm," a source revealed.
The actress was declared dead following the arrival of the police and paramedics on the site. The mortal remains were then sent to the General Department of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy.
