Santosh Mohan Dev the Former union minister and a one-time heavyweight Congress leader in the morning today at a hospital passed away after suffering from the prolonged illness, as per revealed by the family sources.
At the age of 86, he died and is survived by his former legislator wife Bithika Dev and four daughters.
Dev was Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise in the first UPA government led by Dr Manmohan Singh.
