Another hideous case has emerged of growing crime against women from Bagha district of Bihar. Here, a schoolgirl has accused 11 students of gangrape with her. A student studying in class X in the government school has alleged that after going to school on July 10, she was returning to her house, when a student named Manekesh Patwari and 10 other friends attacked her on the way. And took her to a deserted place where she was gang-raped.
After this, the accused threatened the victim in the condition of unconsciousness that she would not mention this incident to anyone or the family members would have to suffer the consequences. After the incident, the nervous victim did not mention it to anyone for a week, but on Tuesday, she told her family about it.
The victim lodged an FIR against the accused in Bagha's Women Police Station. After the matter was registered, the police came under action and worked late night and arrested the main accused Manekesh Patwari on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, the accused was presented in court, after which he was sent to jail.
The victim has told that she knew the main accused earlier. However, on the charge of joining 10 other students in this incident, Bagha SP Arvind Gupta said that the police is investigating the fact that how many people were involved in this incident. On Wednesday, a medical examination of the victim was also conducted at Sadar Hospital in the district whose report is still pending.
Arvind Gupta said that in this entire case the investigation will increase further when the report of medical examination will be revealed. Bagha's SP said that the main accused, Mangesh Patwari, has revealed in the police investigation that his victim's love affair and the victim was pressurizing her to marry him. It is noteworthy that before a Bagha incident, a schoolgirl in Chhapra had accused the principal of her school, two teachers and 15 students for seven months of rape.
