According to Sky Meteorological scientist Samarjit Choudhary, Mumbai is unlikely to get relief from the ain in the next three days. With this, weather scientists have said that the monsoon activity has taken hold over the weekend and the monsoon is progressing slowly.

There is a possibility of some relief in the next two to three days in the plains of central and north India facing heavy heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon in Delhi is expected to arrive on June 29, which is the normal date for the arrival of monsoon for the national capital. The southwest monsoon arrived on May 29, three days before the scheduled date, and there was rain in the coastal areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Southern Gujarat.
