This Holi to amplify the enjoyment, we brought you this dish which will make your guests go crazy. Similar to Bengali rasgulla, Cham Cham us a coconut coated dish, stuffed with mawa and dry fruits. It is a mouth-watering treat in a bit.

Ingredients:

· 450 gram Paneer

· 2 cups Sugar

· 2-3 tbsp Rose Water

· A few strands of Saffron

· 200gms Fresh Thick cream

· 4 cups Water

How to make Cham-Cham:

  • Firstly, put the paneer in a bowl and blend it. Rub till all the lumps are removed and the paneer is absolutely smooth.
  • Now prepare a sugar syrup by adding sugar and water in a cooker and bring the mixture to a boil (without covering the cooker).
  • While the sugar syrup boils, divide the paneer dough into small oval-shaped balls and roll them softly between your palms till smooth.
  • Gently dip the balls to the boiling sugar syrup and now cover the cooker. After the first whistle, wait for 9 to10 minutes and then turn off the burner.
  • Release the steam from the cooker and allow the balls to cool completely before touching them.
  • After cooling, pour some amount of rose water and saffron strands on the Cham-Chams and chill them for few hours.
  • When chilled, remove the Cham-Chams from the pressure cooker and arrange them beautifully in the platter.
  • Quickly pour the fresh cream till it gets thick and fluffy. Put the platter in the refrigerator to let it get cool but remember to remove the split syrup boilings out from your dish.
  • Garnish the dish with your favorite dry fruits.
  • The dish is now ready to serve.
